TBP Representatives Take Part in an Environmental Conference

The PR/GR Director of Trans-Balkan Pipeline B.V. Mr. Nemtsev and his deputy Mr. Ermilichev took part in an environmental conference “St. Petersburg – the Marine Capital of Russia. Ecology”, which was held in St. Petersburg on March 18-19.

Attending the conference were representatives of Russian government ministries, agencies and regional administrations, heads of major companies and their counterparts from other countries. Under discussion were prospects for the development of international cooperation on ecological issues of the Black, Baltic and Caspian seas and the Sea of Japan, the pollution of transboundary rivers, the improvement of environmental legislation and many other issues.

According to Mr. Nemtsev, the attention of conference participants was attracted by the paper presented by Anna Natova, spokesperson for the Bulgarian Marine Administration, on nature conservation activities in the Black Sea ports of Bulgaria.
