Following the Preliminary Environmental Assessment and Evaluation procedure of the project “Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline and accompanying installations / Greek section” on July 27, 2010 the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change of the Greek Republic has issued official approval of the Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment (PEIA) carried out by Trans-Balkan Pipeline B.V. Submission of the final Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study to the Greek Government is scheduled for September 2010.
